Who We Are

Young & Old

- On Mission

We are a group of Christ followers worshiping and walking together. We do our best to be faithful and live out the gospel in our daily lives. We're not perfect and willingly confess our need for the grace, mercy and salvation of Christ on a daily basis.

YOUNG

Investing in the lives of CHILDREN, YOUTH and YOUNG ADULTS.

We are passionate about growing faith in the next generations and long for them to become passionate followers of Jesus.

& Old

We are committed to caring for and valuing the many generations who call FRC home.

Through many decades of faithfulness, their collective wisdom is a valuable asset to our church community.

On Mission

Everyday, Everywhere, Everyone

Following Jesus is not just a Sunday event that we attend, but a calling that permeates all of life. In every relationship, situation, or place we find ourselves in, we are called to be ON MISSION - living and loving like Jesus.

Our History

First Reformed Church of Baldwin was organized in 1905 and has changed with the times over the years. Services are now held in English instead of Dutch! (Which is good news for most of us). We've grown and shrunk and grown over the decades and are grateful for the Lord's faithfulness over the past 100 years.

It is with great joy that we are welcomed into the Alliance of Reformed Churches. We are affirmed into the partnership with these words of encouragement. Our vision follows upon these verses from Ephesians 4:11 And Christ gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, as to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
